How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate
In this role you will:
- Support in the development of Lindt as the Category Experts in the premium chocolate confectionery market
- Support the Category Strategy Team in the of our ongoing internal strategy
- Drive the premium confectionery offering through category managements tools – specifically market data analysis and insight, ranging and merchandising
- Manage the category management team’s reporting tasks and complete in a timely manner
- Support the development of the Lindt Perfect Store Programme including owning and maintaining merchandising software and reporting
- Provide category analysis and insight to support the Category team on ad-hoc projects as required
- Support key business process as required
Key Responsibilities
- Category analysis, insight and reporting
- Maintain (and enhance as required) the category reporting toolkit i.e. distribution tool, KPI tracking, new product adds, Market Advantage Stories, retailer EPOS and Panel Data software etc.
- Ongoing analysis and interpretation of market data (IRI, Kantar, Category toolkit) ensuring consistent visibility of performance
- Set up other best practise reports and manage team reporting requirements as required
- Provide analytical support in the development, implementation and evaluation of category plans as required
- Set up & facilitation of seasonal in-store tracking reports / seasonal workshop
- Support Lindt Perfect Store Programme
- Own the annual Plan On A Page (POAP) process covering distribution and visibility targets
- Ownership of updating and reporting the Perfect Store Scorecard
- Maintain reporting functionality within Space merchandising program to allow in depth analysis of planograms, what if scenarios etc
- Responsibility for Planogram creation/maintenance/analysis across key customers, Lindt Retail and research projects as required
- Support Category Strategy in communicating Perfect store priorities to the wider business
- Recording in-store best practice and merchandising excellence to communicate to the wider business
- Support Category Plans, and support Range Reviews for Customers as required in line with the latest customer prioritisation matrix
- Support other ad-hoc category projects as required
Working Relationships
The role will demand good interpersonal and influencing skills to build and maintain relationships with key contacts:
- Category and Market Insights Team – support / liaise on analysis and insight
- Marketing – ensure understanding of category plans and how brand plans fit together
- Customer Marketing– work together to develop in-store merchandising solutions
- RGM team – to be defined as roles & responsibilities are set
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Preferred
- Previous experience in the FMCG environment preferred
- Strong numeracy, analytical and data interpretation skills
- Working knowledge of Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, Dunnhumby, Nectar 360 data, and Merchandising software preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office skills – Excel, Word, Outlook & Powerpoint
- Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels
- Key strengths would be inquisitive, attention to detail, confident, a self-starter, with drive for results
- High level of initiative, able to drive forward projects independently

This role is based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%)
