Where you will be based
This role will be based in Feltham, London until Spring 2026, when it will then be based in Richmond upon Thames. (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%)

How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate

As a Category Analyst, you will contribute to establishing Lindt as the Category Experts in the chocolate confectionery market by leveraging category management tools such as market data analysis, insight generation, product ranging, and merchandising.

You will be responsible for managing the category management team’s reporting tasks, ensuring timely completion, and supporting the development of the Lindt Perfect Store Programme by maintaining merchandising software and KPI reporting. Additionally, you will provide category analysis and insights to assist the Category Strategy team with ad-hoc projects and play a key role in supporting seasonal business processes, particularly during Christmas and Easter.

Key Responsibilities

Category analysis, insight and reporting

Ownership of:

  • New Adds Process- Circana and Kantar new adds process- collaborating with MIM, Marketing and Category Managers
  • Seasonal data integrity – alongside the MIM lead the data integrity checks for Easter and Christmas data delivery
  • New starter Admin – setting up logins and training for MA/Worldpanel/Spanner
  • Monthly Performance Update –compile PowerPoint from MA Story for MIM to add commentary

Additional

  • Ad Hoc reporting support as required by the wider Category Strategy team

Lindt Perfect Store Toolkit

Ownership of:

  • Distribution Tracker- create, update and communicate
  • KPI Dashboard – maintain updates and create comms for Category Leads to share with wider business
  • Merchandising Vision – work with Category Strategy & Customer Marketing Teams to keep priority lists, recommended merchandising and Perfect Store principles up to date
  • Planogram software- manage product library, reporting functionality, supplier relationship and team training
  • Planograms – working with Category Managers to ensure most common plans are always captured and available
  • Category Roadmap –ensure all tools are available and consolidate key outputs by brand to share with wider team

Additional

  • Support with planogram creation for Lindt Retail and research projects as required

Seasonal Performance Tracking and Evaluating

Ownership of:

  • Seasonal Store Reports- manage co-ordination of store visits and compilation and sharing of weekly report through Easter/Christmas/key mini seasons
  • Seasonal sharing meetings – facilitate conversations between Category Management & Category Strategy to uncover seasonal performance risks and opportunities for Performance reviews and Sell Ins
  • Seasonal Performance snapshot- create performance snapshots as required throughout/following the season to share performance narrative with wider business
  • Seasonal Review toolkit– seek to understand best way to create commonly used information for Seasonal reviews and then create for the team

Additional

  • Admin support for any Seasonal set piece meetings/sharing of information

What experience you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in the FMCG environment preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills – specifically Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI
  • Strong numeracy, analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, Dunnhumby, Nectar 360 data, and Merchandising software preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels
  • Key strengths would be inquisitive, attention to detail, confident, a self-starter, with drive for results
  • High level of initiative, able to drive forward projects independently

How you will be rewarded financialy

Internal: Level 1

For the position of the Category Analyst, the salary range is between £34,000 - £43,000. In addition, you will receive a benefits package including bonus, pension, life cover, chocolate allowance; chocolate give-aways, chocolate discount, £100 personal incentive, birthday day off and so much more!
