You will be joining a global, innovative leader of premium chocolate, operating in over 120 countries around the world. With its iconic market leading brands, Lindt is one of the few companies which controls every step of its chocolate production “from bean to bar”, manufactured across 12 wholly owned production sites in Europe and the USA

We have an exciting International Traineeship opportunity in Finance, with the opportunity to gain experience in 3 of our subsidiaries across the globe. For the right candidate, the program provides an accelerated career progression within the Lindt & Sprungli Group.

You will start your training in the UK, where you’ll be joining the UK's 4th Best Workplace in the UK, where our purpose of "Making People Feel Special" is at the heart of everything we do. This program is designed for people who meet the following criteria:

  • University Degree in Finance or Business Management
  • Preferably some relevant work experience, which can include internships or placements during university.
  • Geographical flexibility (also for after the traineeship) and knowledge of a foreign language (English is a must; plus any other European language)
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, logical and business partnering capabilities
  • Ability to build strong relationships across a business

What is the Program?

This is an 18 month program, with six month placements in three different Lindt & Sprüngli subsidiaries to gain experience in:

  • Commercial Finance
  • Factory/Operational Accounting
  • Financial Accounting
What it will be covering:

  • Monthly Reporting
  • Budget & Forecasting
  • Analytics
Ideally, you will have:

  • A University degree in Finance, Business Management or other relevant course
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and experience of accounting systems - SAP, TPM and Cognos would be an advantage
  • EU Passport (Schengen) as a must (Visa restrictions)
Upon successful completion of the program we aim to offer the trainee a permanent position in Finance in one of our operating companies within the Lindt & Sprüngli Group, with the potential to become a qualified accountant. We offer an amazing start to your professional career in a dynamic and international company.
