Where you’ll be based
This role is based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%). From 2026, our Head Office will be based in Richmond upon Thames.
How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate
As Customer Marketing Manager, you will be joining the Customer Marketing team which sits in the Category & Commercial Strategy function. The Customer Marketing team purpose is to focus our understanding on how consumers behave as shoppers and creating conversion strategies to influence their purchasing decisions at the final moment of choice. We do this by being unmissable in all buying occasions and deploying conversion tactics that activates purchase triggers and overcomes purchase barriers.
- Lead and Support the planning and execution of Lindt brand activation in key customers to drive incremental, unmissable, equity building visibility & conversion to sales. Plans must be aligned to the Lindt Perfect Store/Screen objectives and Category Vision
- Effective Consumer Promotions and Shopper Campaigns: activate consumer promotions, cross category partnerships, product sampling and other incentives to encourage purchases and drive conversion at the point of sale
- Agency Management builds a positive relationship with our shopper agency partners. Effectively manage the day-to-day relationships with our main design agency, to work on a collaborative and effective way of working
- Delighting our key customers take ownership of bringing Lindt brands to life at appropriate forums and meetings, as well as working closely with retailer agencies to develop joint marketing initiatives that benefit both parties
Key Responsibilities
Lead the best possible execution of current year plans:
- Support and work alongside the Senior Customer Marketing Managers in day-to-day planning & developing the annual shopper plans in key customers. This includes point of sale materials in store and online, in-store sampling, and customer engagement events
- Take ownership of a variety of activation projects, working directly with account managers, retailer and design agencies to ensure all workstreams are executed to commercial priorities, budget and delivered versus agreed targets
- Responsible for the development of temporary Point of Sale (POS) to enhance brand equity in store whilst meeting customer requirements. This includes working with the Lindt Display Manager to deliver creative designs that maximise Lindt visibility within retailer guidelines
- Ensuring that all creative assets that are going out into market are approved by the appropriate stakeholders where required: Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Legal Regulatory, Retailer and their designated agencies
- Customer Engagement – develop shopper marketing relationships within Retailers and expand network/contact matrix by strengthening customer contacts via appropriate forums
- Agency Management – briefing and management of agency to ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards, negotiating with agencies & suppliers to achieve best costs and return on investment
- Presentation of activation plans to key internal stakeholders, external agencies and Customers
- Ownership of activation budget and management of this as part of wider JMP/JBPs
- Accurately recording Customer Marketing investment POs on relevant budget tracking sheets
- Responsible for the timely forecasting and organisation of the Customer Marketing sampling product requirements
- Monitoring competitor activity and category best-practice for activation and display and making recommendations for incorporation into future plans.
Support the year +1 plan development:
- Take ownership of bringing our Lindt brands & campaigns to life in key internal and external business planning meetings. This includes internal launch days, customer sell ins and brand days. Working in collaboration with Marketing, Category (Catman & Strategy) and Sales you will deliver a compelling suite of physical and digital kit that demonstrates our premium brand credentials and the opportunity to deliver the activation campaigns to customers.

- Experienced in local brand / product or shopper marketing
- Driven, high tenacity, resourceful with a focus on delivering results
- High level of initiative, able to drive forward projects independently
- Excellent organising & planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
- A collaborator with the ability to network and establish strong relationships cross functionally and externally
- Compelling communicator and presenter who’s able to tailor dependent on audience
- Experienced in managing external media & design agency workloads and day to day relationships
- Capable in managing complex end to end projects
- Proficient in data analytics, insights as well as Excel and Powerpoint
