Where you’ll be based
This role is based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%). From 2026, our Head Office will be based in Richmond upon Thames.
How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate
As Customer Marketing Permanent Display Manager, you will be joining the Customer Marketing team which sits in the Category & Commercial Strategy function. The Customer Marketing team purpose is to focus our understanding on how consumers behave as shoppers and creating conversion strategies to influence their purchasing decisions at the final moment of choice. We do this by being unmissable in all buying occasions and deploying conversion tactics that activates purchase triggers and overcomes purchase barriers.
- Support the planning and manage the design development & execution of Lindt permanent display projects in key customers to drive incremental, unmissable visibility & conversion to sales. Initiatives must be aligned to the Lindt Perfect Store objectives and Category Vision, and designs aligned to Global Shopper Marketing guidelines
- Effective operations management to ensure all display projects are deployed to agreed standards and KPIs. Effectively manage end to end project installations, this also includes continuous and ongoing maintenance, relocations and end of life disposal
- Agency Management builds a positive relationship with our display & creative agency partners. Effectively manage the day-to-day relationships with our main display design agencies, display manufacturers and installation suppliers to work on a collaborative and effective way of working
- Delighting our key customers take ownership of bringing Lindt brands to life at appropriate forums and meetings, as well as understanding retailer guidelines to develop permanent display solutions benefit both parties
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design & operational management of permanent display initiatives:
- Lead the creation of display solutions in line with project briefs, working directly with procurement, shopper & customer marketing, category (including insights), and display suppliers to drive a proposition from idea to final design as per agreed project timelines
- Responsible for the order confirmation for volume manufacturing display solutions to agreed quality standards. This will include delivery & implementation plans agreed pre shipping to/ installing at Retailers
- Lead the end-to-end implementation plan of display projects, this includes the delivery, installing and merchandising of solutions within agreed timeframes, and timely communication on the status to key stakeholders
- Ownership of ongoing maintenance of display solutions in stores, ensuring all issue management is dealt with as per service levels agreed, and lead end of life disposal once permanent display equipment is removed or replaced
- Responsible for feeding into internal & external reviews post launch to measure performance, and form recommendations for ongoing use and future projects
- Ensuring that all creative assets that are go out into market are approved by the appropriate stakeholders where required: Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Legal Regulatory, Retailer and their designated agencies
- Customer Engagement – in collaboration with Customer Marketing & Category Managers, develop relationships within Retailers and expand network/contact matrix by strengthening customer contacts via appropriate forums
- Agency Management – briefing and management of agency to ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards, negotiating with agencies & suppliers to achieve best costs and return on investment
- Presentation of display solutions to key internal stakeholders, and providing the required inputs for externalised selling presentations
- Monitoring competitor activity and category best-practice for activation and display and making recommendations for incorporation into future plans
- Develop & optimise continuous improvement methodologies to ensure progress on unit enhancement and cost efficiency
- Understand, maintain and document retailer guidelines and specifications. Ensure displays are compliant with Lindt and retailer requirements
- Highlight and learn from best-in-class displays and display processes from other Lindt markets worldwide
What experience you’ll bring
- Experienced in local brand / product or shopper marketing
- Experienced in point-of-sale design development and end to end procurement
- Demonstrate experience and/or knowledge on retailer display guidelines and operations
- Driven, high tenacity, resourceful with a focus on delivering results
- High level of initiative, able to drive forward projects independently
- Excellent organising & planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
- A collaborator with the ability to network and establish strong relationships cross functionally and externally
- Compelling communicator and presenter who’s able to tailor dependent on audience
- Experienced in managing external media & design agency workloads and day to day relationships
- Capable in managing complex end to end projects
- Proficient in data analytics, insights as well as Excel and Powerpoint
