Where you’ll be based

This role is based in in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%). From the end of 2025 / early 2026, our Head Office will be based in Richmond Upon Thames.

How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate

The Demand & Supply Planner will serve as the critical link between the Ireland Commercial and UK Supply Chain teams, with a core focus on forecast accuracy and supply planning efficiency. The role is pivotal in optimising inventory flow between UK and Ireland warehouses, ensuring product availability while minimising waste and cost.

This high-visibility position acts as the primary liaison for the Irish market within the broader supply chain function, accountable for delivering reliable, customer- and brand-level rolling forecasts. The planner will leverage demand & supply planning tools and collaborate daily with cross-functional teams—including Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance—to drive integrated planning and execution.

Key responsibilities include leading and preparing monthly demand reviews as part of the IBP process for both Ireland & UK customers, co-owning customer forecasts in partnership with the Sales team, and providing critical forecasting insights through analysis of historical, current, and projected purchasing trends.  A strong commercial mindset is essential to interpret market dynamics and translate them into demand plans that support growth and service excellence.

The role also involves collaboration with Marketing to deliver long-term forecasts at the brand and division level, facilitating alignment meetings with relevant stakeholders to support strategic planning.

While based in the UK office, the role requires regular travel to Ireland to maintain strong local engagement and alignment.

  • Act as the primary interface between the Ireland Commercial team and the UK Supply Chain team, ensuring seamless coordination across both markets
  • Lead and facilitate monthly Demand and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) reviews, using demand forecasting tools to deliver accurate consensus forecasts at SKU and customer level. Ensure clear documentation and timely follow-up on meeting actions
  • Generate actionable insights through data analysis, validating and explaining forecast outputs and variances using available tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Demand Control, Supply Planning and Logistics to align on forecast assumptions and ensure effective demand execution 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve demand & supply planning processes, proactively identifying and proposing enhancements to increase forecast accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, evaluating the impact on service levels, inventory health, and overall supply chain performance
  • Partner with Marketing and Product & Activity teams to manage new product introductions and SKU lifecycle transitions (phase-in/phase-out), ensuring accurate forecasting throughout
  • Work closely with Demand Control and Supply Planning teams to ensure future demand visibility and timely resolution of supply constraints
  • Plan and place replenishment orders for Ireland from the UK and directly with factories, adhering to agreed process guidelines, lead times, stock policy and stock availability
  • Build and optimise Ireland load compositions based on forecasted demand to maximise efficiency and minimise logistics costs
  • Liaise with 3PL providers, factories, and hauliers to ensure smooth inbound delivery flows into the Ireland warehouse
  • Proactively communicate stock and service risks to minimise customer impact and support business continuity
  • Take full ownership of Ireland warehouse capacity management, including setting stock policies and managing inbound loads to meet demand while staying within capacity constraint
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices, fostering cross-functional

What experience you will bring

  • Proven experinece in demand and supply planning as well as IBP/S&OP within the FMCG sector, ideally across UK and Ireland markets
  • A proactive learning mindset and adaptability to evolving business needs are essential
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills are required
  • Experience of working in collaboration with Sales or Marketing within a commercially-orientated FMCG company
  • Strong commercial acumen to interpret market dynamics and translate them into actionable demand plans
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence across, and network with, a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Functional knowledge of account management functions in order to understand all the relevant factors which must be taken into account when analysing business strategy
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. Experience with SAP and demand & supply planning systems (e.g. SAP S4, SAP IBP, SAP R&S, Visual Fabric) is essential
  • Undergraduate degree preferred (Supply Chain, Maths, Science, Finance, Business, Economics or other related field)

How you will be rewarded financially

For the position of Demand and Supply Planner the salary range is £40,000 - £50,000 pro-rated.
