We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.

In this role you will lead a Pureplay account team of three, whilst providing guidance and coaching to wider customer Sales teams and working alongside D2C colleagues on joint online execution & initiatives in line with the channel strategy.

Reporting into the Head of Digital, you will bey a key member of our ‘Sales leadership community’ taking responsibility for leading the Pureplay team, online Grocery (‘Click to Mortar’) customer strategy and delivering sales and profit objectives for our Pureplay channel in line with company aspirations. This role is part of a matrix structure, with a reporting line into the D2C Retail division as part of the Digital team whilst being part of the Wholesale customer account management & planning process.

Key Responsibilities include:

Develop the Digital Sales Channel

  • Lead the development and is accountable for the Pureplay customer strategy & P&L as part of the Digital Game Plan (Amazon, Ocado, Moonpig, Getir + smaller partners)
  • Lead the Availability & Visibility pillars of the online Grocery Digital Shelf execution strategy to continually optimise the online shopper experience
  • Set benchmarks & measurable KPIs against digital media initiatives to deliver investment effectiveness
  • Build and develop the 1-5 year channel roadmap to deliver online NTS targets, working with other functions to create a sustainable support system for the Digital Sales channel
  • Enable new business opportunities for the sales channel where applicable
  • Active participant in Lindt Group Digital Commerce events & forums, establishing international market relationships and sharing best practice / collaboration on projects
  • Work closely with D2C / Marketing to set & execute the Digital product strategy

Develop key Accounts (Amazon, Ocado, Moonpig, Getir + smaller partners)

  • Deliver combined Pureplay customer NTS/GP (full P&L ownership) and Click to Mortar (influencing execution) targets through Digital and key Grocery account teams
  • Develop credible and strong relationships across our customer base to agree and execute Joint Business Plans and customer initiatives
  • Understand key customers and the networks within them to develop Lindt’s business whilst also ‘bringing the outside in’ to improve Digital capability & understanding
  • Lead and guide the account team through the execution standards set out in your channel plan; targeting availability, visibility / traffic & conversion metrics

Sales Leadership Team

  • Contribute to the development of the longer-term sales plan and in-year running of the plan as a Sales Lead within the Lindt Business Planning process, alongside the Sales Leaders Team
  • As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, collaborate effectively across functions whilst ensuring transparency and shared understanding of deliverables

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, coach and develop the Digital Sales team of three
  • Lead cross-functional ways of working, ultimately ensuring alignment to the Lindt UK Game Plan

What experience you’ll bring

  • FMCG / Gifting experience
  • A proven track record of managing Pureplay customers - Amazon experience essential + online Grocery customers
  • Proficiency in using Amazon platforms (Vendor/Seller Central, Advertising)
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership qualities; with the ability to influence, energise and develop others whilst managing a high-performing team
  • Consistent record of success in the negotiation, management and execution of online customer Joint Business Plans (min. 4 cycles preferred)
  • Strong & direct communication & networking skills
  • Performance-driven strategic thinker, with a wide knowledge of the UK competitor / retailer landscape
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint, and understanding of retail / shopper data sets (IRI, Nielsen, Kantar, Amazon Retail Analytics)
  • Additional experience with other digital platforms desirable (Digital Shelf, PIM / PXM, customer data platforms)

Where you’ll be based
This role is based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%).
