National Account Executive – Tesco and Iceland 12 mth FTC

Where you will be based
This role will be based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%) until December 2025. It will then be based in Richmond upon Thames throughout 2026.
How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate
You deliver sales, profit and market share objectives for the account in line with company aspirations through the agreement and activation of joint plans with key trading team. The role requires developing plans that enable longer-term growth.
Key Responsibilities include:
Sales
- Working with the SNAMs and customer cross-functional team to manage the existing business and processes
- Identifying any incremental sales opportunities and identifying further action/investment if needed; reporting back to their line manager with a good business rationale. This will be ongoing for all year round business and will have increased focus at seasonal times in line with business growth objectives
- Full accountability for New Line Process (internal/external), promotional forms (external), price match reporting (external) and sample / product mock up ordering (internal/external)
- Full ownership of one other Account with support from the SNAM and wider cross-functional team
- Ad hoc analysis and work as requested by the Account Teams
Sales Reporting
- Tracking and sharing total Grocery EPOS for Lindt on a weekly basis
- Monthly analysis across the portfolio with clear rationale behind performance
- Promotional tracking to analyse results of each promotion verse original metrics with rationale behind discrepancies
- Tracking of key competitor activity and impact on Lindt performance
- Ensuring EPOS figures are always up to date and in line with account expectations
Displays/Incremental Displays
- The NAE in collaboration with NAM’s will be responsible to ensure displays are delivered in sufficient time to allow Day 1 compliance in store
- NAE’s will also be responsible for working to develop with the customer marketing team the best FDU solutions which deliver against multiple format needs
What experience you’ll bring
This role could be great opportunity, whether you’ve spent the last ten years in sales, or you are relatively new to FMCG. Here are some of the things we are looking for but don’t worry you don’t have to tick all the boxes, we’d still love to hear from you:
- Experience in FMCG/Sales (this could have been achievement in a placement year)
- Possess a UK Driving Licence, ideally but not essential
- Ability to build real relationships
- Ambition and motivation to make an impact
- Numerate with good analytical ability
- IT literate – skills in MS Word, Excel etc.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, with good attention to detail
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
How you will be rewarded financially
For the position of National Account Executive – Tesco & Iceland (12mth FTC), the salary range is £34,000 - £36,000 plus car allowance.
