How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate

We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.

In this role you will provide support to the People & Culture (P&C) Department and our teams to achieve a consistent approach to our People practices and administration that ultimately support our purpose and values.

Key Responsibilities include:

General

  • Responsible for the end-to-end process for onboarding and offboarding employees into the People System
  • Preparing and issuing contracts of employment
  • Ensuring accurate Right to Work checks are carried out, investigating any rejections and escalating where necessary
  • Respond to queries in the P&C Email Inbox
  • Work collaboratively across the P&C team to provide effective administrative support and provide cover to the People & Payroll Co-ordinator 

Recruitment

  • Support the Retail team with the end-to-end recruitment process for all retail roles focusing on management roles but supporting with non-management where needed. .  This will include managing the tasks in Workday, posting on job boards, screening applicants and setting up interviews.
  • Resolving Store recruitment issues e.g. posting jobs on our careers page and job boards
  • Ensure excellent candidate experience for all candidates in the recruitment process from their initial application through to offer or rejection.
  • Manage the recruitment of seasonal casual workers

Systems

  • Support with Workday, ensuring data is correct and making changes where needed, ensuring our processes are running effectively and efficiently.
  • Support with Shopworks, ensuring data is correct and the integrations are running accurately and making changes where needed, ensuring our processes are running effectively and efficiently

Employee Relations

  • Support the People Advisor with note taking at investigation, disciplinary, grievance and flexible working meetings
  • Support Store Managers with early stage ER queries with guidance from the People Advisor
  • Support with the preparation of documentation for ER cases e.g. letter invites to meetings, outcome letters, preparing transcripts

What experience you’ll bring

  • Passionate about working in People & Culture with previous experience
  • Previous P&C experience within Retail or Hospitality
  • Able to build strong and real relationships across all levels within Lindt
  • Excellent attention to detail with good planning and organisation skills
  • Able to prioritise workload and work independently – can get things done!
  • Approachable personal style – able to demonstrate empathy when appropriate
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to juggle multiple demands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player - willing to provide support to colleagues when required
  • Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
  • High levels of Integrity and professionalism – able to deal with confidential situations
  • Numerate, with good IT skills including Excel and Word
  • Previous experience of Database People systems e.g. Workday or similar

How you will be rewarded

Internal Level 1C

For the People Coordinator position, the salary range is £34,000 - £40,000. In addition, you will receive a benefits package including; bonus, pension, life cover, chocolate allowance; chocolate give-aways, chocolate discount, birthday day off and so much more!

Where you’ll be based
This role is based in Richmond-Upon -Thames, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%)
