We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.
In this role you will lead the category management relationship with key grocery retailer(s), to achieve category influence and grow Lindt sales and perfect store KPI’s; within Range, Display, Seasons & Promotions.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Influence retailers through clear insight led rationale, delivering optimum execution for the Chocolate Category and Lindt Portfolio across all opportunities within:
- Range reviews
- Display
- Promotions
- Seasons
- Lead, motivate and coach category manager by setting clear priorities aligned to our category vision and business objectives
- Deliver targets against key perfect store KPI’s via Influence and utilisation of our Category Vision and Visions of Excellence frameworks
Supporting Category Controller to focus on longer term planning with customers. Leading with category vision insights with customers.
This leadership role will demand strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external contacts:
- Customer Category and Buying Teams
- Shopper Marketing Team
- Commercial Team
- Brand Team
What experience you’ll bring
- Experienced category manager, with proven individual results
- Proven knowledge in category management within the UK grocery sector
- Passionate in problem solving for our customers and internally
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and influence at all levels – internal and external
- Line management experience, with track record of developing people to reach their potential.
- Comfortable to prioritise for both self and team.
How you will be rewarded
Internal Level 2
For the Senior Category Manager position, the salary range is £58,000 - £68,000. In addition, you will receive a benefits package including; bonus, pension, life cover, chocolate allowance; chocolate give-aways, chocolate discount, birthday day off and so much more!
