Where you’ll be based
This role is based in Richmond Upon Thames, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%)

How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate

We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.

In this role you will take responsibility for maximising availability across the product portfolio, liaising with numerous stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the timely flow of goods into the UK warehouse to meet customer demand, efficient stock levels and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Calculate monthly net requirements for the designated factories to maintain flow of supply into the UK, as well as to attain optimum target stock levels
  • Review and present latest supply requirements in monthly cross-functional meeting, in order to ratify supply plan and variances to Budget
  • Place orders upon factories, based upon agreed lead time and capacity availability · Foster a close and collaborative working relationship with manufacturing plants through weekly teleconferencing and factory visits
  • Work closely with the factories, 3PL and logistics partners to ensure the smooth flow of inbound deliveries into the warehouse
  • Proactively communicate stock and service risks, in order to minimise negative impact on customers and business goals
  • Actively participate in relevant monthly S&OP reviews, cross-functional work-groups and team meetings
  • Generate weekly and monthly supply planning reports, reflecting status updates and KPI tracking
  • Identify and manage stock shortages and over-stocks, and recommend mitigating actions
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for supply chain issues and variances, defining and performing corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence

What experience you’ll bring

  • Demonstrable supply planning or supply chain experience, preferably gained within an FMCG organisation
  • Proficient in the use of planning systems (eg. SAP)
  • Computer literate, with advanced use of Excel and MS Office, as well as some exposure to BI software platforms
  • Highly numerate and able to analyse and interpret large amounts of data
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive in making improvements and achieving results, in order to meet company and team targets
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence and develop strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent organisational skills - able to prioritise tasks and resolve issues within a fast-paced environment
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

How you will be rewarded

Internal Level 1.c

For the Supply Planner, the salary range is £45,000 - £50,000 (pro-rata). In addition, you will receive a benefits package including; bonus, pension, life cover, chocolate allowance; chocolate give-aways, chocolate discount, birthday day off and so much more!
